Preliminary Application & Minimum Requirements
Thank you for your interest in joining the ASI Security team. We provide high-stakes protection services across Chicago and Cicero, and we only hire staff who are 100% reliable.
Before beginning your application, you must confirm you meet these “non-negotiables”:
- Age: 18+ for unarmed positions; 21+ for armed posts.
- Legal Status: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Licensing: You must be Work Ready. This means you have cleared your Live Scan and possess (or have applied for) your Illinois PERC Card.
- Reliable Transportation: You must have a guaranteed way to get to your post on time, every time (Personal vehicle, public transit, etc.). “I couldn’t find a ride” is not an excuse at ASI.
- Communication: A working smartphone with a data plan is mandatory for our clock-in and reporting systems.
- Professionalism: You must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently and follow a strict “clean-cut” dress code.
